First things first......this woman is gorgeous. That being said, the comments on here disparaging this her for not showing her face are very disgusting and infuriating. Did any of you think for one second that she might be hiding her face not to piss you off, but because she has to? Or because she fears not being able to ascend in the world of fashion and/or modeling because people are still judgemental about women posing nude? To me it's not so much an intolerance as it is a preference--and a strong preference at that. For me, not seeing the model's face leaves the work feeling impersonal, and if it's impersonal, I'm not engaged. For example, if I couldn't see, say, Chloe face, I'd just think, 'Wow, she has a really nice body,' but I wouldn't really be into her sets and movies. So far, six of the seven newest models are faceless. I'm hoping this trend changes.

I don't disagree with your comments about the misuse and dangers of the web and I can well understand why models may not wish to show their face but equally I do not see any of the comments made in this case as fitting that category. Rather the comments of DaSkywalker could be interpreted as abusive to those who have expressed in very polite terms a wish to see Ombeline's face. Words and phrases such as very disgusting ,disparaging,damn discomfort and intolerance do not seem to me applicable to those comments that I have seen or posted myself. While I agree that the hidden models lose some of their identity, remember that this isn't an "artistic choice" or shyness and they probably wouldn't stay hidden unless they had to. Sadly most of the world is still behind the times when it comes to nudity so these models must stay hidden to maintain their lives. I don't want people blaming Petter or Ombeline. Dear Petter, you have always been exploring new avenues, hence the moniker “the new nude” which was quite appealing to me when I joined a few years back. I can totally respect that. I am quite a reasonable man. However, when I joined all these years ago, I do not recall models having problems showing their faces. Maybe the times have changed, you are definitely in a better position to judge than I am. Are we seeing a return of puritanism or something similar? As for turning the tables on me and having me be a nude model thus putting me on the spot so to speak, it is only fair if there is a substantial amount of females in the world wanting to see a middle aged man naked and pay the site money to see it. On this aspect, we both know that this is very unlikely. Hence there is very little incentive for me in starting a nude model career, except for being exposed. I might have considered it in another life who knows. That being said, the offer to be photographed by you is obviously quite tempting. I am still a fan of your work.

Hi DaSkywalker. So, are you implying that things have changed and that it has become more difficult for models to show their faces? That was my question to Petter. I am willing to hear that argument. Things change that is a fact of life. It doesn't mean they change for the best though and that we are to automatically be ok with any change. To be honest, my take on this change is that there is a loss of honesty in the sense of "I want my cake but eat it too". I want to be a nude model but not want the stigma that comes from it. However, we as patron are still obligated to hold our side of the bargain (i.e. pay the same money). In the OLD DAYS, models would show their faces but not their genitalia (do you remember this?). Now I am asking you, what prevent models from not showing their faces AND also hide their genitalia? Would you be okay with this? What about having patches on their nipples too? Where do you draw the line? At its core being nude is about not covering anything. Granted, we mostly think about not covering genitalia but really its about being exposed. I would argue that most people here do not get enough of this in real life, myself included. This is what I am paying for.

Hi DaSkywalker, Thanks for providing some new argument to this thread. Yes, I can totally understand that it is easier to “google” someone nowadays than it was 20 years ago. Thus making it more risky for people to pose nude. In return I’m asking you to understand the inherent contradiction for people to want “to express themselves in an erotic fashion” by exposing themselves on the internet while not wanting to expose themselves. The proper term to qualify that behaviour is “coy”. If you can find enough erotism in this, it is your prerogative. But I will point out all the other comments that say that covering faces cuts erotism in half, for us and most probably for the model too. My point stands no one gets what they want. Not the model and not the viewer: something is missing. Furthermore, this “technique” of not showing your face will likely not really protect your identity for any length of time. Anybody who knows these models and is on internet watching at high end porn will recognise them. Also you don’t need to remind me that Petter can produce whatever content “he damn well pleases”. That is a given as this is a private site. Not only they can publish what they damn well please they also have the power to publish the comments they damn well please. I am glad that they chose to engage in a conversation. I had a valid point to make on faceless models. This point of view is shared by many other members. It now has been acknowledged by Petter. He has given a reason for this trend in that he has a choice in working with these models with face covered or not at all. That is enough answer for me for the time being. I can also turn the table on you and say, if you don’t like my comments, you also “don’t need to engage”. As to showing me the door, you have no authority in the matter. You are assuming that models that choose not to show their faces are doing so because they don't want to expose them completely. What I am saying to you is that you should consider the idea that these models may not be showing their faces because of potential repercussions they could face if they do.....either in the form of backlash from their family and loved ones or judgements from individuals in the modeling industry. If the absence of a face cuts the eroticism in half for you, there are over 200 models that Hegre has photographed over the years that you can choose from. Take your pick. The number of faceless content is less than 5% of the total content provided. Again, my initial comments (which I stand by 120%) were directed towards the commenters who believed the faceless models were not worthy of their patronage. If you want to respond, you have that right....but like I said, Petter has the right to work with (or not work with) whoever he pleases and to produce whatever content he pleases. That's really all I have to say on the matter. I said what I said and I meant it.

Very beautiful photos and from what I can see a beautiful woman. Not really impressed with the models who don't take a risk and show their faces; however I am thankful Hegre and Ombeline decided to still give us this wonderful gift.
